“Apple Crumble”

I am not one to deprive myself from tasty food; I definitely find a way to enjoy it with a health boosting edge

Here’s a healthy Apple Oatmeal recipe that’s perfect for breakfast or a snack:

Ingredients:

• 1 fresh apple (chopped, skin on for extra fiber) and handful of Blueberries for a zing of antioxidant

• 1/2 cup rolled oats

• 1 cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)

• 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

• 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)

• 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional for sweetness)

• 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

• 1 tablespoon chopped walnuts or almonds (optional, for added crunch and healthy fats)

Instructions:

1. Cook the oats: In a small saucepan, combine the oats and almond milk. Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat to simmer. Stir occasionally, letting the oats cook for 5-7 minutes until they thicken.

2. Add apples and cinnamon: Stir in the chopped apple, cinnamon, and chia seeds. Continue cooking for another 3-4 minutes until the apples soften slightly and the oats reach your desired consistency.

3. Sweeten (optional): Stir in honey or maple syrup and vanilla extract if you prefer extra sweetness.

4. Serve: Top the oatmeal with chopped nuts for added crunch and extra nutrients. Enjoy this delicious, fiber-packed apple oatmeal as a warm and comforting meal!
